A Preschool for ages
18 months,
2, 3 and 4 year olds.
Garden City Co-Op Preschool is one of the oldest cooperative preschools in Michigan. It was established in 1955 under the guidelines of the Greater Detroit Cooperative Nursery Council and the Michigan Council of Cooperative Nurseries. Their goal was to create a quality preschool environment for their children, with direct parental involvement. Although minor changes have been made through the years, the major goal of the school remains the same today.

Garden City Co-Op Preschool is a nonprofit organization owned and operated by the parents of the children enrolled. We are licensed by the Michigan Department of Social Services and must meet health and safety codes set by the Wayne County Health Department and Garden City Fire Department. We are also a member of the Greater Detroit Cooperative Nursery Council.
Garden City Co-Op Preschool is located in Downtown Garden City, Michigan at 1841 Middlebelt Road, just south of Ford Road. Our phone number is (734) 261-2838. Garden City Co-op Preschool rents space from the Garden City Presbyterian Church but maintains an independent operation. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, or national origin.
