School Playdough Recipe

Playdough

Mix in a medium pot:
* 1 cup white flour
* 1/4 cup salt
* 1-2 TBS cream of tartar

Combine and add:
* 1 cup water
* 1 TBS vegetable oil
* 1-2 tsp food coloring (for red playdought add more)

Cook over medium heat and stir 3-5 minutes. It will look like
a globby mess and you will think it is not turning out, but it
will. When it forms a ball in the middle of the pot, take out
and knead on a lightly floured surface. Store in a plastic
bag or airtight container.

(Multiply this recipe 5-6 times if you are making it for the preschool.)
