Member participation is what keeps costs down and things running smoothly. Each member of the school has a job. Some examples are: Teacher's Assistant, Hospitality, Yard Maintenance. There is also a School Board with four elected positions and the remainder appointed.  Job Descriptions

One representative of each family is required to attend the General Meetings (held on the fourth Monday of every month at 7:30 p.m.). This evening meeting is where you pay tuition, receive information from the teacher and Board members on the coming months of school, receive your work schedule and newsletter and where we discuss school business, etc.

You will be scheduled to work 1 to 2 days per month and asked to bring the juice and snack 3 or 4 times each school year. One of these times will be your child's birthday treat.

At the beginning of the school year we have a fund raiser to help defray costs and keep tuition low. If needed, we have a second fund raiser in the spring.

Each child attending the preschool must have a physical and be immunized. The green physical forms are due at the Orientation in late August. You will be contacted during the summer with the date and time of this meeting.

Experts in child development agree that one of the best gifts you can give your child is a quality preschool experience. Cooperative preschools give you the opportunity to take an active role in that important aspect of your child's development.

An added benefit to being a co-op member is the opportunity to meet other familes and make new friends. You will find a tremendous amount of support and cooperation among co-op groups.
